Lifesavers are everywhere in the community. They can be teachers, students, mums, dads, firemen, plumbers or accountants. They don’t always wear a uniform but they can and do save lives. They patrol the houses, streets, workplaces and parks of the communities in which they live. 

To reach our target of 300,000 community lifesavers annually we need individuals to participate in a lifesaving, first aid or resuscitation program.  Royal Life Saving NSW offers a range of programs and services to meet the needs of busy people.

Below are some of the ways you can get involved.

   
• Learn and  UPDATE First Aid
• Learn and UPDATE CPR
• Learn about Emergency Care
• Complete the year 5/6 Water Smart Program
• Sign the kids up for Swim and Survive
• Complete a Bronze Rescue Lifesaving program
• Take the Aquatic Survival Challenge
• Become a Royal Life Saving Examiner
• Become a Pool Lifeguard
• Become a Swim Teacher

Any of these  activities will count towards our goal of training 300,000 community life savers.
